Seva Dharma Mission, a non-profit religious corporation, incorporated in Miami, Florida in 2006, is the affiliate of Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha, based in Kolkata, India, which focuses on the spiritual practices and educational objectives of the Ananda Marga  mission.

Ananda Marga is a spiritual philosophy and mission. It promotes a new humanistic (neo-humanistic) and universal outlook which leads to spiritual fulfillment and universal welfare. Our objective is to help individuals achieve their highest potential and to work towards a society in which the physical, mental and spiritual needs of everyone can be fulfilled.

The word "ananda" means "bliss", referring to the exalted inner experience of spiritual realization. "Marga" means "path", hence the name "Ananda Marga" means "The path of bliss." Ananda Marga was propounded by Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar, also known by his spiritual name of Shrii Shrii Anandamurti, in India. in 1955, he formed the organization for the propagation of the philosophy and way of life, Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha (AMPS).

Ananda Marga believes that spiritual attainment is the birthright of all human beings, hence instruction in the spiritual practices (meditation) of Ananda Marga is always free of charge. The only prerequisite is the sincerity of the student. Our spiritual practices are part of the rich heritage of Tantra Yoga that dates back 7000 years to Sadashiva.

We are affiliated with Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha of Kolkata, India, an international spiritual and social service organization. Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha divides the world into 9 sectors. We are a part of New York Sector, which includes North America and the Carribean Islands.
